First I slept at 4 and got about 6 hour sleep because I needed to wake up at 10. I packed all my belongings the day before so all I needed to do was head on over to the airports. My plane departed at 12:10 pm and arrived 12:05 am so it was 22 hours and 55 minutes overall. The plane ride was boring but I watched a lot of movies, read magazines, listened to music and SLEPT! Finally when we reached there in Singapore I took a cab to my hotel which was called “The Fullerton Hotel”. I checked in the front desk and the lady gave me my key to my room. The hotel was really nice looking and the facilities were really nice too. I got settled in and put all my belongings away. Then, I took a half hour sleep because I couldn’t sleep as well in the plane due to a really loud baby behind me. Next, I woke up and decided that I would do something fun like go to the Singapore Flyer. There were so many things to do there. The first thing I did was go on the wheel. It is the World’s Largest Giant Observation Wheel. It was 30 minute ride and the view was phenomenal! Next, I went to the Merlion Park and it was the most beautiful thing I ever saw. I also viewed iconic landmarks such as the Singapore River, Raffles Place and Empress Place. It was 5 by then and I decided that I needed to eat lunch and it is a little too late. For lunch I went to Seafood Paradise and let me tell you that it was the best! The food was really good and tasty. Some signature dishes in Seafood Paradise include Signature Creamy Butter Crab, Singapore’s Famous Chilli Crab, Hot Plate Tofu with Preserved ‘Cai Xin’ and Cheesy Bacon roll. I would really recommend this restaurant! After eating lunch I still wanted to go back to the Singapore Flyer because I didn’t see all the things there. So then I took a cab to Singapore Flyer. The first thing I did there was go to “The Helix Bridge”. It is a pedestrian bridge linking Marina Centre with Marina South in the Marina Bay area and is located beside the Benjamin Sheares Bridge. I also went to Marina Square. Marina Square Shopping Mall is located in the middle of the shopping, dining and entertainment. There were 4 levels of shopping and 200 speciality shops comprising fashion. After all the shopping I was hungry and needed something in my stomach. For dinner I just ate in Marina Square. Finally, I went home and go to sleep ending the tiring yet fun day!
I woke up at around 8 and got ready. I ate breakfast at the Grub. I got an Iced White Coffee which was for $6. The next thing I did was pack. This is because I was going to head to Sentosa. It took me 31 minutes via CTE. Then I took a cab to my hotel which was “Beach Villas”. I checked in with the front desk and got my key to my room. I got settled and took a little tour of the hotel. When I found out that there was a swimming pool, I screamed! I needed a little bit of swimming to get freshen up on the hot day. I swam for about 2 hours and went back up to my hotel. I took a shower and dressed up nice to go out for lunch. I went to Starz Restaurant and there were so many choices to pick from like Asian Cuisine, Western Cuisine and more! After lunch, I went to the Palawan Beach which was open 24 hours to get a tan and relax but first I had to change into my beach clothes and get all my beach essentials. I took my sunglasses, towel, sunscreen, extra pair of clothes to change in and more! I took a cab to the Palawan Beach and reached there around 4:30. I relaxed and got a nice tan at the beach. Life at the beach was just perfect without any worries! After 2 or 3 hours, I dressed up into my new clothes and headed straight to dinner. For dinner I went to Joel Robuchon Restaurant. At around 8, I came back to my hotel and just passed out. I forgot to even change because thats how tired I was.
Day 3 (April 13)
I woke up at around 9 because I was tired from last night and got dressed into comfy running clothes. I went out for a run because I needed somewhat of exercise while I was on my vacation. I ran for about like 20 to 30 minutes with my music. Afterwards it made me feel a whole lot better for running. Next, I came into my hotel and took a shower. Then I decided I wanted to tasty breakfast so I hopped into a cab over to “The Beast”. There are many foods to pick from, like chicken and waffles, pulled pork hash, bacon maple-glazed donuts, mac and cheese burger and more! After eating breakfast, I wanted to do something really active yet fun. So I decided to go to the Universal Studio. There were 7 zones to go to and they were Hollowood, New York, SCI-FI City, Ancient Egypt, Lost World, Far Far Away and Madagascar. I obviously went to Hollywood first. Some things that I did was watch Lake Hollywood Spectacular (watch fireworks), watch Street Entertainment (Daddy O’s, Mel’s Dinettes and the Cruisers), and meet and greet (Hollywood Boulevard and Minions from Despicable Me). After going through all the zones, I went to eat lunch. I ate lunch at “Blue Lotus Chinese Eating House”. After eating I went shopping in Bally (Galleria Level 2). I went shopping for about 2 hours and then decided to go to Spa. This was because I needed rest and relaxation. I felt so good after going to spa which was called AWAY. I went to dinner at Malaysian Food Street. Finally it was around 9 and I took a cab to my hotel. Once I got to my hotel, I changed into my pajamas and fell asleep.

Day 4 (April 14)
This morning I woke up around 8. As usual, I took a shower and brushed my teeth. Then I went out of my hotel and waited for a cab. Once I found my cab I went to breakfast at Slappy Cakes. I got blueberry pancakes and they were delicious. Then I went to Sentosa Islands. There are many things to do in Sentosa Islands like Siloso Point, Imbiah Lookout, Beaches, Resorts World Sentosa, Serapong, Sentosa Cove and more! I took a ride on the cable car, explored historic landmarks, diving with sharks and viewed the beautiful-illuminated Harbour Front. After 3 or so hours at the Sentosa Islands, I headed over to lunch. For lunch I went to “The Cliff Restaurant”. After eating I had realized that I wanted to go back to Sentosa Island because it was fun and I didn’t get to all the places I could. I took a cab to Sentosa Island and stayed there for about another 2 hours. While I was in Sentosa Island I made some new friends and their names were “Paloma” and “Hannah”. We all had gotten really close during that time! They decided that they wanted to come to my hotel to spend more time. The three of us then took a cab to my hotel and checked in with the front desk at the hotel. They claimed that my hotel was really nice than theirs. After hanging out for half an hour to an hour, we went out to dinner. For dinner, we went to “Feng Shui Inn” because they both had went there and the food is good. I ate Chinese Barbeque and Dim Sum and it was the best food ever! From there “Paloma” and “Hannah” went home and I went back to my hotel. When I got to my hotel I started packing my belongings. This was because I was going to Little India the next morning.

Day 5 (April 15)
I woke up around 8 and took at a cab to Little India which only 10 minutes. After I reached in Little India I went to my hotel “Village Albert Court”. I checked in with the main desk and got my key to my room. While I was there I realized that Little India is really different from Sentosa. I didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel because on way to Little India I took a cartoon milk. Also, I didn’t feel like eating something too big for breakfast. At 10 I went to visit temples like Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple and the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple. They both are Hindu temples so I obviously visit them since I am Hindu. I took out my shoes and went inside both the temples to look around and pray. After about 1 hour, I decided to drink something on the hot day especially with so much walking. I went to Starbucks and got a vanilla bean frappuccino with one pump of raspberry syrup. Then I went to lunch at Kashmir to eat Indian food. After lunch I went shopping for Indian things at Serangoon Road. It was filled with Indian restaurants, shops and stalls. After 2 or so hours of shopping, I went to dinner at Komala Villas Restaurant. I took a cab to my hotel and just slept right away.

Day 6 (April 16)
This morning I was so tired I couldn’t even get up. I decided to not really do anything too energy taking. I woke up around 10 and got ready for the day. I went downstairs and ate milk and cereal. It was 11:30 by the time I ate breakfast so I decided to talk to my parents in Illinois. We talked for 2 hours since we facetimed too! The connection was really poor and it kept on getting frozen. I went out for a walk around 1 and went to eat lunch at “Usman Restaurant”. Then I went to get henna done on both my arms because I love henna. After that I came in my hotel to sleep for about 2-3 hours before I went to dinner. I woke up around 7 and went to dinner. I went to dinner at “Kashmir” again because I really liked the food from the day before’s lunch. I came to my hotel in a cab and checked in with the front desk. I went to my room and changed and knocked out.

This was because I was leaving back to Illinois and I just wanted to be ready. I went downstairs with my suitcase and gave the key to the front desk. Then I took a cab to Mustafa Centre which is a shopping mall for 1 hour. Then I went to lunch at “Usmam Restaurant”. Finally I took a cab to the airport and waited for my plane. I sat in the plane for 22 hours and 49 minutes until I reached Chicago!
